On Thursday 19th April at Riverside Centre, Bob and Carol Bridgestock delighted a full house at Riverside Centre, Newport with their Murder Behind The Scenes charity event in support of Sight for Wight.  Bob and Carol are patrons for the Society and their generosity and kindness has no bounds as they made a special trip to come down from Yorkshire, sponsored by Wightlink, to allow followers, fans and anyone with an interest in crime fiction, an insight into what goes on behind the scenes to a murder investigation.  Thanks to CBS Reality who allowed their 'Written In Blood' programme to be screened, the evening at Riverside Centre was fascinating and entertaining.

Maggie & Kelvin Currie from Vectis Radio were also on hand to interview and Kelvin provided his technical expertise with the set up.

Michelle Taylor (Volunteer Manager) and Chris Cane (Marketing, Communications & Fundraising Manager) were also in attendance promoting our new sunglasses, pen torches, keyring torches and low vision aids.

Sight for Wight would like to thank Bob and Carol and everyone who came along to support the event which raised £355.00.
