REVIEW OF ASSISTED REFUSE COLLECTIONS

Posted in on

As you may be aware, the Isle of Wight Council, working in partnership with Amey, offer a free assisted collection service to residents who may have difficulties presenting their waste and recycling on their allocated collection day.  As a visually impaired person you might currently benefit from this service.

The Isle of Wight Council are conducting an annual review of all registered assisted collection properties and will shortly be sending out letters asking if those who already use the service, still require it.

Along with the letter will be a form for you to complete.  These forms will need to be returned by a certain date (yet to be disclosed).  If the forms are not returned, the Council will conclude the service is no longer required and your address will be taken off their assisted collection service register.

If you require assistance with the form then you can contact the Isle of Wight Council on 01983 823777.
