Society Activities - Week Commencing Monday 8th January 2018

Laura will be attending the Our Place drop in session which is held at the West Wight Sports and Community Centre in Moa Place, Freshwater, between 10am and 12.30pm on Tuesday 16th January. She will have information about the Society, the clubs and activities available, as well as demonstrations of some low vision aids available. Come along and say hello, and enjoy a free tea or coffee.

DOLPHINS - The Dolphins swimming sessions will begin again on Tuesday 2nd January 2018. The pool is closed to the public whilst the group swims. There are male and female volunteers to help you get in and out of the pool as well as Lifeguards to ensure your safety. To join the Dolphins, please call the Society first to notify us of your swimming ability.



COFFEE MORNING (10:00am - 11:30am).  Come and join us at Millbrooke House for a cup of coffee and a chat; why not bring a friend along as well as the coffee mornings are open to all.

OWLS (2.00pm - 3.30pm)  Millbrooke House  The speaker for this week’s meeting is from Independent Arts, an Isle of Wight charity which uses the arts to improve wellbeing, quality of life and help reduce social isolation. The group lasts approximately 45 Minutes, which is then followed by tea or coffee and cake.



KNITTERS & NATTERERS - The group runs from 11.00am till 2.00pm. You can knit or just natter, then later in the afternoon volunteers come in and read to the group from different topics.
