We wanted to say a big thank you for entering the Christmas short story writing competition, held on behalf of the Isle of Wight Society for the Blind. Doors open at 5:30pm and the Awards Ceremony will start at 7:00pm prompt.  All are welcome, regardless of whether you have entered the story writing competition or not.

This year’s prizes and certificates will be presented by: Lord Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight Major General Martin White and Mrs WhiteHigh Sheriff Robin CourageChairman of Newport Parish Council In addition, the overall winning entry of each category will have their story pre-recorded by actor Robert Glenister, actress Katy Manning and singer Edana Minghella; these will be played at the presentation evening for everyone to hear.
