Please can we ask that all Members check whether they have any extra Talking News wallets at home that have not been returned. There are 2 wallets in the system for each Member to ensure a continuous supply each week, not interrupted by postal delays. However, some Members are using the same wallet each time which can cause missed weeks if the post is delayed. Any extra wallets can be returned to us in the usual way and will ensure an uninterrupted service.

Due to staff availability, the monthly ‘Introducing Millbrooke House’ will no longer be running on a Tuesday morning. Instead we will be holding a weekly Low Vision drop in between 10.00am and 12 noon on a Wednesday. This will coincide with the coffee morning and will allow you to view and try the Low Vision equipment we have at the Society without the need for an appointment. If this time is not suitable for you then you are welcome to call the Society to make an appointment to view our Low Vision equipment. We will also continue to hold our larger Low Vision Days. The next will be held on Thursday 3rd May, 2.30pm till 6.30pm.

The closing date for the taster Pottery session is Friday 27th April. The pottery session is being held on Monday 21st May 10.30am till 12.30pm. For more information please call Laura Jasper on 522205 or email
