The next golf session will be taking place on Sunday 29th April at 10.00am on the driving range at Westridge Golf Centre in Ryde. Anyone interested can just turn up on the day for 1 hour of golf with an instructor for the group, followed by a cup of tea and a chat afterwards in the café. The cost is £3 per person.
Local volunteers from the Guide Dogs Charity will be visiting a number of venues over the next few months talking about the work of the Charity and how you can be involved. They will be at Sandown Library on the 23rd June, Ryde Library on the 21st July and Ventnor Library on the 18th August. All the library venue times will be 10.30am till 2.30pm. You can also find them at Riverfest on Newport Quay on the 19th May, 11.00am till 3.00pm, and the Isle of Wight Community Club Open Day at Park Road in Cowes on August 27th from 12 noon onwards.
