Guide Dogs Southampton Mobility Team came to Sight for Wight to train two of our staff members. This was their article on their Facebook page:
This week we spent a couple of days with Sight for Wight – the local sight loss organisation for the Isle of Wight.
We are delighted that Sight for Wight have agreed to become an associate organisation for us and will be delivering the My Guide service locally to benefit visually impaired people on the Island. They have undertaken their training and are now fully fledged Associates!!. We very much look forward to working with them!
If you have a few hours to spare each week and would like to help a person living with sight loss get out and about in their local community, please do contact us to find out how you can volunteer. Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
