On Tuesday 21st June, Sight for Wight had their Hat and Sunglasses Day.

All the primary schools were provided with a USB stick which had a video that we made. The video consisted of who we are as Sight for Wight and how we help people, about the Education Programme and what that involves, a scene featuring the Education Programme characters sharing the importance of wearing hats and sunglasses to protect your eyes from the UV rays and what it is like to have sight loss.

We had some good feedback from the video saying that the children enjoyed watching the video and joining in. Thank you to the primary schools who joined in with this day either by joining in to watch the video or by raising money for us.
