DESCRIPTION:Cost: Free \nLunch: Refreshments\, snacks and light lunches will be available to purchase\, or you can bring a packed lunch. \nClosing date for expressions of interest: Friday 23rd August 2019. \nTransport: Arrangements will be confirmed once numbers attending are known. \nWe are considering a group trip to the Ageas Bowl in Southampton to visit the Eye Contact Exhibition which is taking place on the 25th September.  This is Hampshire’s biggest free exhibition which brings together guest speakers and the latest equipment and services available to those with\, or at risk of sight loss. \nTo gauge whether there would be sufficient interest in a group trip\, please register your interest by Friday 23rd August.  Once we know possible numbers\, then we can finalise transport arrangements. \nPlease note: This is a big event in a large venue.  Therefore\, good mobility will be essential to walk around the large site. \nAll activities are subject to demand and availability of volunteers.

DESCRIPTION:Start Time: To be confirmed depending on tides but will be early morning. \nEnd Time:  To be confirmed depending on tides but will be mid afternoon. \nCost:  Assuming full capacity\, the cost is £27.00 per person.  This may change if all spaces are not taken.  We will confirm any change in advance of the activity taking place. \nLunch:  Bring a packed lunch as well as any other refreshments you may want throughout the day. \nTransport:  None provided; make your own way to and from the Marina. \nClosing date for applications: Friday 23rd August 2019. \nThe Spirit of Scott Bader is a purpose designed catamaran which we will be joining for a day’s sailing around the Solent.  It has a ramp access\, accessible controls\, saloon and onboard toilet.  The Skipper\, John\, is a qualified RYA Instructor and will encourage you to do as much or as little of the sailing as you wish. \nPlease note: Due to the limited spaces available\, places will be offered on a first come\, first served basis.  If the activity is oversubscribed\, a waiting list will be made for priority selection on a repeat visit. \nAll activities are subject to demand and the availability of volunteers.

DESCRIPTION:The Royal Victoria Yacht Club has a long-standing tradition of inviting people with disabilities to enjoy a day at their club. A large number of guests of all ages enjoy a day at the club and trips out on the Solent. There are fast RIBs out to Osborne Bay\, and slower boats for a potter up and down Wootton Creek. Shoreside\, guests are treated to refreshments and music. There is usually a tombola as well.
